Brian Grodin
Brian is the founder of The Grodin Group, a NYC based personal and business financial services firm. His passion for helping people, and his expertise in taking complex situations and making them simple led him to become a financial advisor.
Brian started in the financial services business in 1991. Since then, he has been serving his clientele with a passion for guiding and educating them towards financial independence and success. Brian specializes in helping families, individuals, business owners and professional sports coaches in the areas of retirement planning, business succession planning and legacy planning, amongst other financial planning related topics.
Relationships are at the center of Brian’s practice and his primary focus is making sure that his clients are informed about the important decisions they need to make regarding their future and the future of those who depend upon them. With that in mind, he works hard to educate his clients so that they have the confidence to move forward with plans that fit their specific situation.

Brian graduated from the University of Miami in 1988. He resides in Rye Brook, NY with his wife Lisa and their 3 children. He enjoys Miami Hurricane football and is an avid golfer, skier and music lover.
Nicole Tartagni
Nicole’s passion for helping others goes hand in hand with her role as a Client Service Associate. With a background in the financial industry, she has developed a diverse skillset through her previous roles as a Financial Professional with New York Life and as an Executive Assistant at Barnum Capital Management.
At The Grodin Group, Nicole supports both life insurance and long-term care clients with care and attention, ensuring their unique needs are met with professionalism and empathy. In addition to her client-focused responsibilities, she also plays a key role in managing the firm’s social media efforts helping to communicate The Grodin Group’s values and services.
Nicole graduated from Plymouth State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and minored in Professional Sales. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and discovering local coffee shops.
jeff romond
Brian has worked with Jeff Romond from St. George Financial Partners for 20+ years to successfully lay out the financial future of their clients.
He also works closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and help them develop clear, actionable and flexible strategies that connect them with the best products and solutions designed to help achieve their goals over time.
In doing so, Jeff focuses on wealth accumulation, tax efficient investments, retirement income and distribution strategies, estate and charitable planning, asset protection strategies, and education funding. Jeff is also an avid speaker in the industry on retirement, financial, and tax related topics.
Lisa Grodin
Lisa has been a dedicated long term care insurance specialist since 1996. With a singular focus in a complicated industry, Lisa is able link her clients to the appropriate type of product and carrier, and then tailor that plan to meet their specific needs.
Long term care planning has evolved over the years and is a key component to protecting the sound financial plan you have set up by eliminating the financial burden it can place on your estate.
Lisa has worked with many corporations to offer long term care planning as a group benefit, and has lectured as an expert for both profit and non-profit associations.
Lisa graduated with a B.A. from New York University in 1991, is licensed and insured nationally, and holds her CLTC designation. She lives in Westchester with Brian and their 3 children.
